Novo Nordisk is one of the world's leading manufacturers of hormone replacement therapy (HRT).  For several decades, we have been at the forefront of HRT developments, and our products are used by women throughout Ireland, Europe and the world.

We have a history of leadership and innovation in HRT.  In 1977, Novo Nordisk launched the very first cyclical HRT for perimenopausal women, and this was followed in 1984 by the first continuous combined HRT for post-menopausal women. We followed that up in 1988 with the launch of a unique vaginal delivery system for women who wanted local HRT.
